An Allred – A post containing broken English and no discernible punctuation that purports to pass on insider information.

Art Ray – A Memphis plaintiff’s attorney who spends most of his time on Internet message boards defending David Cutcliffe, Rod Barnes, David Kellum and anyone else who receives a paycheck from Ole Miss. Also known as ArthurRayNationalChampionship, or ARNC.

The Battle of Hollingsworth Field – the Braveheart-style postgame melee following the 2002 Florida victory; ended in multiple arrests, mace attacks, and the University selling pieces of the goalposts that were defended from the students at such great cost

Blue Jean Shorts and Faded Danny Wuerffel Jerseys – the outfit of choice for Florida fans in the Grove

The Brad Lott Leadership Trophy – Award given annually by nafoom.com to honor the alum, athlete or student who has done the most to embarrass Ole Miss over the past year.

Cobra Love – University-sanctioned molestation by security personnel at the student gates at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium

Dewey Roberts’ Evolving Theorem – CapitolHillRebel, NJReb, and NYC10001 are like-minded operatives of U.S. Senator Trent Lott, who apparently has enough time to direct discussions on Internet message boards. Roberts keeps revising the theorem (he originally said that the three were the same person).

4-2-5 – the alleged “defense” responsible for the 2003 Ole Miss-Texas Tech game, also known as the worst performance by a passing defense in the annals of human history

"He's a good Rebel" – Apparently, a perfectly valid justification for someone being a complete and utter moron.

John Avery Fast (adjective) – authentic blinding speed, not some bullshit recruiting "4.3" Translated to the virtual world, "John Avery Fast" allows you to win an EA Sports NCAA Football '97 contest at the Union simply by throwing to Avery out of the backfield every play despite your opponents using a vastly better Florida St. team.

"One Man To Beat" – a phrase routinely screamed by David Kellum during Ole Miss football games. Usually followed by "He's tackled at the 37 yard line where it'll be second and seven."

"On the Hoof" – A phrase used by a Spirit staffer to compliment a player who has not done shit on the football field but looks more fit in street clothes than the staffer.

NAFOOM – Acronym used to describe a person or institution (most often a media outlet) that is Not A Friend Of Ole Miss.

The POW factor – phenomenon that causes (usually otherwise unspectacular) SEC QBs to routinely enjoy career games against Ole Miss and be named SEC Player of the Week--see Kitchens, Freddie; Pinkins, Dondrial; Zolman, Greg, etc.

Redneck – term applied to white people, usually from the South, who are of low socioeconomic standing and limited educational background. Both Ole Miss and Mississippi State have fans that would routinely be classified as rednecks.

SEC Western Division Champions - The team that represents the SEC Western Division in the SEC championship game. It is not advisable to order a banner proclaiming yourself as SEC Western Division champions if you did not play in said game, particularly if you were beaten by the Western Division team that did.

Tuscaloosa – The graveyard of Ole Miss football seasons past.
